Age and access
Casino Lounge: 20+ for casino gaming areas. Anyone under 20 is not permitted in the gaming areas, including when accompanied by an adult. Staff check valid photo identification before admission and may request it again during a visit.
Bring a current passport, New Zealand driver licence or Kiwi Access card. If staff cannot establish your eligibility, entry will be refused. The age restriction applies to Casino Lounge; families are welcome in the hotel’s accommodation and other appropriate guest spaces.
Decide your limits before you begin
- Set a spending limit using only money you can afford to lose.
- Choose a time to finish and take regular breaks away from gaming.
- Keep money for accommodation, food, travel and everyday bills separate.
- Do not borrow money to gamble or try to recover earlier losses.
- Avoid gambling when upset, under pressure or affected by alcohol.
Gambling outcomes are uncertain. A previous loss or win does not promise a different result next time, and gambling should not be treated as a way to earn income.
Recognise when a pause would help
Spending more time or money than planned, hiding activity from others, feeling unable to stop, or gambling to escape worries are reasons to step away and ask for support. You do not need to wait until a problem feels severe.
